About the Author
Hetansh Desai
"Karna padta hai, kamino."
Hetansh Desai was born in Bhavnagar on 2nd July, 1992. By 3rd July, he had realised he hated writing about himself in the third person.
Here he takes a leaf out of Imran Qureshi's book — erm, diary — Farhan Akhtar's character in ZNMD. When Arjun and Kabir sing the evergreen Diamond Biscuit jingle, an irritated Imran famously says, "Karna padta hai, kamino." So, that's that.
From an early age, Hetansh fondly recalled long drives with his parents — where his father instilled in him that truly, zindagi na milegi dobara. He pursued a Master of Sciences in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College, Boston, in 2015.
In 2017, he moved to Mumbai to start his company in a modest Borivali flat. Three years there — two of which were spent in the Saki Naka jam. In 2020, he relocated to Ahmedabad, partly due to Covid and partly due to continuous rejections by Mumbai auto drivers.
Today, his firm Mediaverse Group houses four verticals and is jointly managed by him, his wife Kalgi Desai (Partner), and his friend Dhruv Sanghvi (CEO).
